Every fashion brand ends a season with stock that did not sell. It does not sit still, it costs money every week: storage, capital tied up, and less value every season. The usual options are all bad in their own way: a discount that dents full price, a call to one dealer who names one number, a container to a market nobody tracks, or a shredder. Between a fifth and a third of all textiles that reach the EU market are destroyed before anyone wears them. Since July 2026 that is illegal for large companies, and from 2030 for most of the brands we work with.
Unworn starts before any of that. A read only connection to your webshop, ERP and warehouse, or a simple file export, is enough. The engine scores every article on ten signals, from days since last sale and weeks of cover to storage cost and inbound orders, and prices six exits for each one. It ranks them on return per week of capital tied up, not on the biggest number, and shows the comparison so you can disagree. Most tools show you what you have. Unworn says what to do with it, and shows the maths. The analysis is free, whether or not you ever sell through us.
When the recommendation is to sell, Unworn prepares the offer: units, size run, photos and a minimum price you keep to yourself. Screened buyers, from department stores and online off price to export partners and recyclers, bid blind and all at once. You decide which buyer groups, countries and channels may see the offer. Everyone else sees nothing. Your name appears only after you accept a bid.
Accepted means paid. The buyer pays before the goods leave the warehouse, so there is no open invoice and no dealer renegotiating after delivery. Selling costs you nothing: the buyer pays our fee on top of the bid. Every decision, chosen or not, is written to a record your accountant and auditor can read and that satisfies the EU documentation duty on unsold goods.
Unworn was built in Amsterdam by the founders of Pockies, who spent fifteen years solving this problem for their own brand first.
